Kickers X Platoon Studios

I worked extensively with Kickers and Apple Music / Platoon Studios as a joint partnership, to coordinate a three-day writing camp at Platoon, featuring five emerging artists from diverse sonic and cultural backgrounds.

I honed in on Kickers’ ethos of ‘Making a Statement’ to create the overarching concept of the camp: ‘Statement Sessions’. I advised on the structure, artist selection and pairings, songwriting brief, and content strategy for the camp, placing an emphasis on personal and cultural storytelling.

The artists created 12 polished demos across the three days, which Kickers and Apple are pursuing licensing for sync.

As a continuation of this launch activation, I organised a showcase event with both brands in August 2026, which featured live performances from the writing camp artists. I also hosted the evening, and DJed the opening and closing sets.
