Blackhorse Workshop - Blackhorse Creates
In July 2026, I was invited to curate the music programme for Blackhorse Creates at Blackhorse Workshop, a female-led wood and metal workshop based in Waltham Forest. The programme was during the day, designed to be suitable for all ages, and focused on spotlighting diverse musical talent local to the borough.
Working exactly within the provided budget, I curated a lineup which featured six artists and DJs from Waltham Forest and nearby boroughs, with the vast majority being female and between 20 - 30 years old. Genres included R&B, soul, pop, funk and Afrobeats.
